Abstract

Crime is any behavior that can be detrimental, and can cause so much non-repression in a society. Crimes at this time can occur anywhere and in any field is no exception in the pharmaceutical field, where in the health community is the most important part in the human body. One very important component of health is the availability of medicines as part of public health services. That is because drugs are used to save lives, restore and maintain health. In this case the one in charge of overseeing the circulation of drugs and food is Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) RI as a non-departmental government institution formed to carry out governmental tasks in the field of drug and food control in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) RI have one of the implementing units Balai Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BBPOM) in Pekanbaru. Inaccuracy in consuming and circulating G-list drugs can be dangerous for the body. List G hard drugs are drugs that can only be obtained at pharmacies and must be prescribed by a doctor in obtaining them. However, at this time there are still many people who sell these G-list drugs in drug stores without a doctor's prescription and without the role of a pharmacist. This study uses the quality method by conducting a descriptive approach using prevention theory which is divided into three parts of prevention, namely primary prevention, secondary prevention, and tertiary prevention. The results of this study are Balai Besar Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BBPOM) in Pekanbaru in making efforts to prevent the circulation of hard drugs list G is in accordance with applicable regulations, although there are still deficiencies in prevention.
