Abstract

Media is one of the components in the learning system which has a very vital function and role for the success of learning. Without the media, communication will not occur and the learning process will not be able to take place optimally. Selection of the right media will make the learning process more effective and efficient in achieving the specified learning objectives. So far, the learning process of Tectonism material in the General Geology course only uses power point media which makes students only focus on writing rather than listening to educators' explanations. So that students can understand tectonic material well and the learning process is more effective, it is necessary to develop appropriate three-dimensional media to support the learning process. This study aims to develop viable three-dimensional media and to determine student responses to the developed media. This application uses the ARCore SDK Library and then uses a 3D display with Markerless Techniques. Based on the tests collected by Students / I, it is known that this application can display Tectonic Plate animation with light intensity of 8-12 lux less than one second with a distance of 10 cm, 34-48 lux less than one second with a distance of 50 cm, and 88 110 lux is less than one second with a distance of 1m.
