Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF THE DRILL METHOD ON STUDENT'S LEARNING ATTENTION IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION LESSONS IN SMA NEGERI 5 TUALANG SIAK DISTRICT AFIQAH MUAYADAH 172410084 This research is motivated by the low attention of students' learning on the eyes of students Islamic education lessons at SMA Negeri 5 Tualang, Siak Regency. Thing This can be seen from, there is a very low student persistence in learning and lack of repetition of exercises or habits in learning, sense of responsibility or obligation on students is very low, and lack of desire to learn. A student should have a high attention to learning, because Attention to learning is very important in the learning process. Formulas The problem in this research is how the effect of the drill method on the attention to student learning in Islamic Religious Education lessons at SMA Negeri 5 Tualang Siak Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the method drill on students' attention to learning in Islamic Religious Education lessons at SMA Negeri 5 Tualang, Siak Regency. This type of research is quantitative correlation approach. The population includes 142, with a sample of 105 students. For data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study shows that the hypothesis of the effect of the drill method on students' learning attention accepted with a significance value of 0.000. The magnitude of the influence is quite strong (0.471 or 47.1%) can be predicted if the drill method is improved it will contribute to increasing students' attention to learning by 0.747 or 74.7%. Vice versa, if the drill method decreases by 0.747 or 74.7%. So it can be concluded that the results of this study are sufficient to influence There is a strong relationship between the drill method and students' learning attention in education lessons Islam in SMA Negeri 5 Tualang, Siak Regency.
