Abstract
ABSTRACT In the development of today's technological advances, many have emerged freight forwarding service company using technological advances as the base system. The service company is engaged in delivery of goods covering the entire territory of Indonesia. It will make it easier for the Indonesian people to deliver goods long distance. Of course, in this case the focus is on the satisfaction of the parties service users. In this regard, this research is directed to examine how the implementation of the responsibilities of service companies Delivery of goods at J&T Express Pekanbaru branch in case of internal damage delivery of goods and what legal remedies can be taken by the public in the event of damage in the delivery of goods. The research method used in this research is research observation or survey, namely data collection carried out by plunging directly to the field by conducting interviews and questionnaires. Implementation of the responsibility of the J&T Express Pekanbaru service company in delivery of these goods in accordance with Law No. 8 of 1999 About Consumer Protection which regulates all matters regarding liability responsibilities of business actors, rights and obligations of business actors along with the rights and obligations of consumers. Legal efforts that can be taken by the community if there is damage in the delivery of goods, it is also regulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, namely: the first is the settlement of consumer disputes through the courts, the second through settlement of claims for immediate compensation outside the court, and the last settlement of claims for compensation through the Settlement Agency Consumer Dispute (BPSK). We recommend that the company J&T Express Pekanbaru in sending goods to always prioritize customer satisfaction service users and does not violate the rights of the consumers themselves, and if there is a violation or loss suffered by the consumer of the service user, the consumer should use the service with the delivery company perusahaan J&T Express Pekanbaru goods both have good intentions for solve the problems that occur. The role of the company delivery of goods with consumers who use their services is necessary to minimize the occurrence of disputes between the company and its service users.
