Abstract
This accounting application research was carried out in Logas Tanah Darat District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, totaling 20 broilers. Meanwhile, the problem studied in this study was whether the accounting application carried out in the broiler business was in accordance with the basic concepts and accounting principles applies. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of accounting carried out in broiler chicken business whether it is in accordance with the basic concepts and principles of accounting in carrying out its business. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, interviews. structured, observation and documentation, then after all the data is obtained then the data is analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. Based on the research that has been carried out and the discussion, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in broiler chicken business in Logas Tanah Darat District, Kuantan Singingi Regency is not in accordance with the basic concepts and accounting principles that apply at this time.
