Abstract

The problem of this research is the large breeding of swallow’s nests which are located in desenly populated settlements, resulting in environmental damage. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of a good governance in the management in the sorek satu district of pelalawan regency. This research uses descriptive survey method that uses qualitative research methods. Indicators in this study are participation, rule of law, transparency, consensus, responsiveness, effectiveness and efficiency, accountability. The use of this qualitative method aims to support the level of results. So that it can be accounted for and easily understood thus reseach data collection instrument prioritizes interviews as a means of obtaining key raw materials to obtain suitable conditions. The key to this information is the head of the licensing and non licensing section, the head of the licensing and non licensing section at the one integrated investment service office in the pelalawan district, swallow bird nest entrepreneurs community. Based on the results of the discussion it can be swallow nest management and exploitation permits in sorek satu district, one pelalawan of regencies has not been ruuning optimally due to non compliance with regulations on breeding swiftlet nest swallow’s nest, in order to be able to create breeding swallow’s nest that is protected from environmental domage.
