Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application of value for money analysis in the Government Agency Performance Accountability Report (LAKIP) Pekanbaru City Social Service based on the level of economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research because the research conducted describes the analysis of data obtained from the Pekanbaru City Social Service in the form of data such as the amount of the budget, budget realization so that the performance achievements that have been carried out by the Pekanbaru City Social Service so as to provide a clear enough picture for The writer analyzed the data by using interview and documentation methods. The dataused are primary data and secondary data. The results show that accountability in the Performance Accountability Report of the Pekanbaru City Social Service Agency in 2019 and 2020 has not met the value for money principle. effectiveness there are 29 activities. In 2020 there were 10 programs and 34 activities, 25 activities were realized, there were 24 economic activities and 26 efficiency activities with 20 effectiveness activities. Therefore, the Pekanbaru City Social Service is expected to be able to evaluate the performance programs carried out in order to improve performance and meet the value for money element. The results of this study are expected to provide supporting input based on the analysis carried out.
