Abstract
Based on initial observations, teachers at SDN 01 Tualang have developed learning tools to support the learning process. The teacher arranges learning tools to make the learning process planned and directed. This study aims to determine the ability of teachers in compiling learning tools at SDN 01 Tualang, Siak Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. There are two sources of data, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary and secondary data sources involve three teachers and one principal. The selection of data sources used a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of teachers who had attended training in the preparation of learning tools. Data collection techniques and instruments are interviews, observation and documentation. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The triangulation of sources used is related to three teachers and one principal as well as documents. Technical triangulation is done by checking the data to the same source with different techniques. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. In data reduction, it is possible to retrieve the required data according to the teacher's ability in compiling learning tools. The presentation of the data is presented descriptively related to the teacher's ability to develop three learning tools, namely the syllabus, lesson plan (RPP) and assessment. The presentation of syllabus data is viewed from the suitability of the syllabus stages which consist of 4 stages. And the suitability of the components of the syllabus which consists of 8 components. The presentation of RPP data is viewed from the suitability of the RPP stages which consists of 11 stages. And the suitability of the RPP component which consists of 9 components. Presentation of assessment data in terms of the suitability of the assessment component which consists of 3 components. The conclusion of this study is that teachers at SDN 01 Tualang are able to develop learning tools in the form of syllabus, Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and assessments by following all the stages and components of learning tools.
