Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) using the Eliciting Activities Model (MEAs) approach on rectangular material in class VII SMP which has been tested valid. The development of learning devices in this study used the development or R&D method using the modified Plomp development model because the research was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic, which consisted of 4 phases, namely (1) initial investigation; (2) designs; (3) realization//construction; (4) test, evaluation and revision. The research data collection instruments were the RPP validation sheet and the LKPD validation sheet. The data collection technique used is validation data from 2 Mathematics Education Lecturers, FKIP UIR and 2 Mathematics Teachers at Tri Bhakti Junior High School Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used is validation data analysis. From the results of the study, the results of the RPP validation were 91.13% with a very valid category and 90.27% LKPD with a very valid category. Based on the results of this study, it was obtained that mathematics learning tools with the Eliciting Activities Model (MEAs) approach in the quadrilateral material of class VII SMP were tested valid.
