Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of art teaching culture (dance creations archipelago) using cooperative learning models on Grade XI students of SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2019/2020. Research methods The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were 1 art subject teacher culture and 34 students of class XI.MIPA.5. In implementing teaching the teacher is guided by the curriculum, syllabus, Lesson plans, facilities and infrastructure, learning methods and evaluation / assessment. Results this research shows that in the implementation of teaching cultural arts (dance archipelago creations), the teacher uses the 2013 curriculum, the syllabus is in accordance with curriculum used by schools as well as lesson plans written based on curriculum and syllabus. The material studied by students in arts and culture subjects is archipelago dance creations. In the dance material created by the archipelago students are required to be able presents archipelago dance creations. The evaluation used by the teacher is in accordance with K13, which consists of three domains, affective (attitude), cognitive (knowledge) and psychomotor (skills). Overall students are able to do it well according to the talent they have.
