Abstract

This study aims to analyze financial performance using Value for money measurements at the Youth and Sports Office of Riau Province. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data used is primary data, namely the Budget Realization Report and the Government Agency Accountability Report of the Youth and Sports Office of Riau Province from 2018 to 2020, which were obtained directly from the object of research, namely the Youth and Sports Office of Riau Province. The results of this study indicate the financial performance of the Youth and Sports Office of Riau Province in terms of economic ratios that are already economic because the economic percentage value is less than 100% every year, so that the realization of spending is still below the annual budget. Judging from the efficiency ratio, it is not efficient because the percentage of efficiency is more than 100% every year, so it experiences a deficit every year. And in terms of the effectiveness ratio is not effective because the percentage value of effectiveness is less than 100% every year, so the Youth and Sports Office of Riau Province is not able to collect income according to the budget that has been set every year. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the financial performance accountability of the Youth and Sports Office of Riau Province has not met the Value for money principle
