Abstract

Competency-based work training is closely related to the development of quality Human Resources. This can be known from the objectives to be achieved, namely people who have a good quality of life and are able to compete in the world of work. One of the most strategic development sectors that is the focus of the government, especially the Siak district government through the Siak district manpower and transmigration service is the development of Human Resources. By providing competency-based job training, this is intended to prepare prospective workers in Siak district to be able to meet the qualifications and possess expertise and skills in work. As for the main issues that will be examined by the author are as follows, How the efforts of the Siak district manpower and transmigration department in improving the Indonesian national work competency standards in the field of job training in 2018 then Is the budget in the Siak district manpower and transmigration service sufficient to increase Indonesian national work competency standards in the field of job training in 2018 Judging from the type, this research is a sociological research that is by conducting a survey by directly descending the field related to the problem to be studied, namely in the district of Siak. Based on the results of the research the efforts of the Siak regency's workforce and transmigration efforts to improve Indonesia's national work competency standards in the field of job training in 2018 is to promote competency-based work training to the sub-districts in Siak Regency. And conduct rigorous selections to competency-based job training candidates, both in written and interview selections. the budget given by the Siak district government taken from the Regional Budget (APBD) for competency-based work training is not yet maximal proven by only two competency-based work training categories held by the Siak district manpower and transmigration department in 2018 namely bicycle training only 32 people participated in motorbike and computer training.
