Abstract

Contribution Of Leg Muscle Explosive Power And Abdominal Muscle Strength To The Speed ​​Ability Of Puti Swallow Pencak Silat Sickle Speed, Tambang Subdistrict, Kampar Regency. This study aims to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and abdominal muscle strength to the kicking speed ability of the crescent pecak silat walet puti, mining sub-district, Kampar district. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine whether there is a contribution of the explosive power of the leg muscles and the strength of the abdominal muscles to the ability of the kick speed of the crescent of pencak silat walet puti in the village of Tarauangun, the mining district of Kampar district. The sampling technique was the total sampling technique, amounting to 12 people. The instruments used were leg muscle explosive power test, abdominal muscle strength test and sickle kick speed. Data analysis used product moment correlation (multiple correlation) and to find the contribution of each variable using the coefficient determinant formula. Based on the results of the research, the value of = 0.53 and the value of rtable = 0.49, the conclusion is that the value of rcount> the value of rtable has a significant relationship, so the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and abdominal muscle strength to the ability of the kick speed of the crescent kick of pencak silat walet puti district of mining district Kampar has a contribution of 28.09%
