Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLE, MOTIVATION AND WORK DISCIPLINE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN PT. MEGA NUSA INTI PALM OIL, INDRAGIRI DISTRICT, HULU RIAU OLEH TEGUH BUNTORO NPM : 155210083 This study works to examine the effect of leadership style, motivation, and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Mega Nusa Inti Sawit, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style, motivation, and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Mega Nusa Inti Sawit Indragiri Hulu. And to find out the dominant factors affecting the performance of employees of PT. Mega Nusa Inti Sawit, Indragiri Hulu district, Riau. The population in this study were employees of PT. Mega Nusa Inti Sawit, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau. While the samples taken were all employees of PT. Mega Nusa Inti Sawit, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau, totaling 40 people. The data collection techniques used in the study were questionnaires and interviews. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study shows that partially the leadership style variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance, motivation does not have a significant effect on employee performance and work discipline has no effect on employee performance. However, simultaneously leadership style, motivation and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance. The amount of contribution given by the variable leadership style, motivation and work discipline is indicated by the value of the Adjusted R Square coefficient of determination of 0.700. This means that 70% of employee performance can be explained by the variable leadership style, motivation and work discipline. While the remaining 30% is influenced by variables not examined in this study.
