Abstract
SELF EFFICACY PROFILE (SELF-EFFICIENCY) STUDENTS IN BIOLOGY LEARNING CLASS XI IPA STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 9 PEKANBARU IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021 LALA KARMILA NPM.166511285 Thesis of Biology Education Study Program, Faculty Teacher Training and Education University Islamic of Riau Advisor: Tengku Idris, S.Pd.,M.Pd Email: lkarmila523@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the profile of students' self-efficacy in biology learning for Class XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a descriptive study using a survey method. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The sample in this study were 84 students, taken from Class XI IPA students consisting of 25 statement items. The results showed that the students' self-efficacy was in the good category for all indicators. The indicators of voting behavior are in the good category with a percentage of 77.72%, the indicators of effort done and endurance are in good categories with a percentage of 79.39%, indicators of thinking patterns and emotional reactions in good categories with a percentage of 76.32%, and indicators of embodiment of the skills in the good category with a percentage of 79.66%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the self-efficacy profile of students in biology learning for Class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru for the 2020/2021 academic year was in the good category with a percentage of 78.27%.
