Abstract

ABSTRACT ZAKAT DISTRIBUTION STRATEGY AND ITS IMPACT ON LOCAL COMMUNITY ECONOMY, CASE STUDY AT NATIONAL ZAKAT AGENCY KARIMUN REGENCY ANNISA UROHIMAH 162310092 National zakat agency is a zakat management organization by government with duty as zakat collection, distribution, and development. This organization also managed infaq, donation and others socialization fund. In Karimun regency there is a national zakat agency located at Jendral Sudirman Street Sungai Pasir Village Meral City, Karimun Regency. Research problem questioned how zakat distribution strategy done by National Zakat Agency Karimun Regency, how was the impact of local community economy from zakat distribution at National Zakat Agency Karimun Regency. Then, the purpose in this research examined to know zakat distribution strategy and its impact on local community economy. The method used in collecting data that was observation, interview and documentation. The data consisted of primer and secondary data and then analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The population in this research involved 4 persons where 2 staffs of distribution section and 2 persons from mustahik. The sample was the population. The research finding showed that national zakat agency karimun regency in distributing zakat fund to mustahik classified into good enough and implemented according to procedure operating standard. However, national zakat agency did not always conduct training activity to mustahik that wanted to open business and there were many requirements. Therefore, the suggestion to national zakat agency that should increase services to mustahik.
