Abstract

This research was conducted in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City. In connection with this research, the object of this research is the Shirt Screen Printing Business in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City. As for the problem studied in this study is whether the application or application of accounting carried out by the Shirt Screening entrepreneur is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the accounting application carried out by the clothes screen printing entrepreneur is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting in carrying out his business. This research method uses quantitative methods, namely by distributing questionnaires.The data collected in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, structured interviews, observation, and documentation, then after the data was obtained then the data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the Shirt Screen Printing business in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City is not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
