Abstract
This research was conducted in Bagan Siapi-api city, precisely at the National Zakat Board, Bagan Siapi-api Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the welfare of farmer group members before and after being given zakat funds distribution by the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Rokan Hilir Regency. The type of data used in this study is primary and secondary data. This research uses data analysis method by comparing the income of farmer group members before being given zakat funds by BAZNAS Rokan Hilir Regency with the standard of living a decent life (KHL) set by the government. From the results of this study it is known that: 1) Of the 11 respondents who are fishermen, it shows that there are no respondents who are prosperous before being given the distribution of zakat funds by BAZNAS Rokan Hilir Regency and there are 11 people who are not prosperous. 2) respondents who are prosperous after being given the distribution of zakat funds by BAZNAS Rokan Hilir Regency there are 7 people and 4 people who are not prosperous.
