Abstract

This research aims to describe how the activities of extractive activity in the dance art of Rentak Bulian in SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru. The research methods used in this research are qualitative desktiptif. Data transfer through observation, interviews, and doctoral. The subject in this study amounted to 22 people consisting of 20 extracricular members, 1 person and 1 coach. The research venue took place at SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru which is located in Soekarno-Hatta street No. 639. Village of East Sidomulyo, Marpoyan Damai District. The theory used in the study was (Narmoadmojo, 2010:13). The data analysis technique used in this research is data reduction, display or data presentation, conclusion retrieval and then verified. From the results of the analysis of the findings in the future, the conclusion that the material taught in extracurricular activities is the dance of Rentak Bulian. The Merode used in extracurricular activities is the method of lectures, demonstration methods and methods of discussion. The facilities and infrastructure used in the implementation of the activity of the extracurricular dance art of Rentak Bulian in SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru is a school. The assessment used for the extracurricular contractor of SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru is the assessment at each meeting and the end of the training process is given qualitatively in the form of A (very good), B (good), C (Enough) and D (less).
