Abstract

ABSTRACT NURUL AVIVAH, 2021, Contribution of Arm Muscle Strength and Leg Muscle Strength to the Results of the Girls Volleyball Smash Club 3GN Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine whether there is a To find out whether there is a contribution between arm muscle strength and leg muscle strength on the results of the women's volleyball club 3GN Pekanbaru Smash. The population in this study were 12 female athletes of 3GN Pekanbaru. This study used a total sampling technique, meaning that the entire population was sampled in this study 12 people. This type of research is correlation. The test instrument used the push up, vertical jump, and Smash tests, then the data were processed using the correlation test. Based on the results of the research as evidenced by data analysis using the correlation test, the researcher can conclude that there is no significant contribution to the arm muscles to the Smash with rcount (0.241) <rtab (0.576) and the KD Value of 5,8%, there is no significant contribution to leg muscles to the Smash with a value of rhitung (0.071) <rtab (0.576) and the KD Value of 0,50% , and there was no contribution to arm muscle strength and leg muscle strength to the volleyball Smash putri Club 3GN pekanbaru with a value of rcount (0.241) <rtab (0.576) and the KD Value of 5,76%.
