Abstract

This study is entitled "learning the art of dance offerings using the scientific approach method in class VIII D SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru". The formulation of the problem in this study is how to learn the art of dance offerings using the scientific approach method in class VIII D of SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning of dance art and culture offerings using the scientific approach method in class VIII D of SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. The theory used in this research is Yunus Abidin. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in the research at SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru were class VIII D, totaling a total of 30 students. The learning material for dance offerings is 4 meetings. Learning methods are scientific approaches, ATM methods, discussion methods, question and answer methods and assignment methods. From the observations of researchers at SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru 1, the teacher prepares a learning kit consisting of the 2013 curriculum, syllabus, RPP (Learning Implementation Plan), Learning Methods, Facilities and Infrastructure and Evaluation.
