Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of reward and punishment on employee performance at PT. Merapi Utama Pharma Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all working employees. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, namely the determination of the sample based on the objectives and considerations of the researcher, amounting to 50 people. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis and Smartpls 3.0. The results of this study indicate that reward and punishment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Merapi Utama Pharma Pekanbaru. The contribution of reward and punishment to employee performance is 70.6%.
