Abstract
This study aims to find out how the application of kinesthetic learning styles to improve learning outcomes of cultural arts (deli dance) at SMP Negeri 3 Enok Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2019/2020, therefore this study is a classroom action research or CAR which is generally carried out in accordance with the cycle designed by Arikunto which consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of this study indicate that the improvement of student learning outcomes in learning cultural arts (deli dance) in class VII.3 SMP Negeri 3 Enok Indragiri Hilir Regency through kinesthetic learning styles can work well, this is evidenced from the results of research that increases learning outcomes cultural arts (kuala deli dance) can be done by applying kinesthetic learning styles in the learning of dance culture and art. In preliminary data the average value of grade VII.3 students only reached 65.46 with a classical completeness of 28.6%. Then starting in the first cycle of action there was an increase in classical completeness to 71.42% with an average of 76.95. Then the second cycle is taken and the average is 85.68 and the classical completeness reaches 95%. This is evidence that the application of kinesthetic learning styles can improve student learning outcomes in learning cultural arts (deli dance).
