Abstract
This study aims to find out the correlation between mapping area and crime prevention pattern used by Ujung Batu police, namely Priventive Efforts. Mapping of crime-prone areas in Ujung Batu Police Department is very helpful in making preventive efforts, namely in preventing crimes that occur in Ujung Batu Subdistrict, because from the Mapping we can know which areas are the most vulnerable and what crimes dominate the area.when viewed from the data and mapping of existing crime-prone areas, Ujung Batu is the second highest vulnerable area in Rokan Hulu Regency after Kunto Darussalam Subdistrict. As for some measures of efforts made by the Ujung Batu Sector Police in preventing the emergence of factors that cause crimes in the realm of law Ujung Batu Police, among others, conduct patrols and add police personnel, conduct enterprising village sambang, hold night ronda.The efforts made by the Ujung Batu Sector Police are carried out by means of preventive measures which eliminate and minimize the factors that cause crime.
