Abstract

The Village Consultative Body (BPD) is an institution that embodies democracy in carrying out village governance. Members of the BPD are representatives of the concerned villagers based on regional representation. The Village Consultative Body functions to plan the Regional Budget (APBDES), to accommodate and channel the aspirations of the people and to oversee the village administration. The phenomenon, namely the lack of the Village Consultative Body of Pulau Busuk implemented one of the functions of the BPD contained in Law Number 06 Year 2014 article 55 points a, b and c. One of them is the lack of accommodating and channeling the aspirations of the villagers, therefore according to the phenomenon that occurred the author intends to conduct research with problems How to Organize the Function of Village Consultative Bodies in the Field of Collecting and Distributing Community Aspirations in Pulau Busuk Village, Inuman District, Kuantan Singingi Regency? The method used is quantitative descriptive with sampling technique that is purposive sampling. Based on the results of the analysis by the authors, conclusions can be drawn on the role of the BPD in accommodating and conveying the aspirations of the people in Pulau Busuk Village, Inuman Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency, categorized quite well with a percentage of 50%
