Abstract

This paper aim to know and analyze the performance of Labor Department in empowering local workforce in Pekanbaru city. Performance assessment indicators that are used include input, process, output, and outcome. The research type of this paper is a descriptive survey, which prioritizes the questionnaire list as a data collection tools, then the collected data will used as the main raw material to analyze empirical conditions and objectives for the research location. The population and samples in this research paper amounted to 30 peoples. The types and techniques of data collection used consist of; primary data that are collected using the questionnaire list and interview techniques, as well as secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique is use by recapitulation table tools. Based on this analysis technique, researchers assess and conclude that, the performance analysis of the manpower department in the empowerment of local workforce at Pekanbaru City is a good enough in the interval rating, with the overall score of 181, in the range Score 139-195.
