Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of work stress on employee performance at the Office for Security and Law Enforcement LHK Section II Pekanbaru-Riau. The population in this study were all employees, totaling 45 employees, then a sample of 45 employees using a total sampling selection technique (census), where research data was used by interviewing and distributing questionnaires. In analyzing the data, the author uses quantitative methods, then the results of the research are analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS version 22 program. The results of the simple linear regression test are obtained Y = 15.387 + 0.663 which means that the constant value is 15.387 with a regression coefficient of 0.663 which states The direction of the influence of the variable X on Y is positive, which means that work stress has a significant effect on employee performance at the Office of the Security and Law Enforcement Center for LHK Section II Pekanbaru-Riau.
