Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the entrepreneurial characteristics of Nu Skin's multi-level marketing distributor on business performance at the Pekanbaru walk-in center. This study uses stratified random sampling in the sampling of the study. Data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data used is simple regression analysis with spss v.22. The results of the analysis obtained that Variable X was based on data processing and the total score was in the category of strongly agree with a total of 3,385, meaning that based on the answers of 30 research respondents, it was concluded that entrepreneurial characteristics have an influence on business performance, while variable Y based on data processing and the total score obtained a score of 513 and also in the category of strongly agree. Based on the answers of 30 research respondents, it is known that the highest score is owned by the indicator facing changes in the X variable (Entrepreneurial Characteristics) of 1,059. The results of the analysis with SPSS version 22 on the validity test stated that the influence of entrepreneurial characteristics on business performance was declared valid, where r count > r table with a significant level of 0.05 (5%). In the reliability test, the variables X and Y were declared reliable because cronbac alpha > 0.06. The results of a simple linear regression test, found the equation Y = 5.603 + 0.671 X. From this equation, it can be interpreted that the value of a = 5.639 indicates that the entrepreneurial characteristic variable is constant, then the business performance variable has an effect of 5.603 while the simple linear regression coefficient is 0.671, which means that changes in the X variable will affect the Y variable. entrepreneurial characteristics and business performance that is 0.000. it can be interpreted that xiv between the two research variables have a relationship. And the level of relationship between the variables of entrepreneurial characteristics and business performance is 0.000, which means the level of correlation is weak. The coefficient of determinant is 0.671 or 67.1%. so based on this, it means that the entrepreneurial characteristic variable affects the business performance of the Nu Skin Distributor at the Pekanbaru Walk In Center by 67.1. The t-count of entrepreneurial characteristics is 4.783 > ttable of 2,048. This means that there is a significant influence between the X and Y variables in this study.
