Abstract

This study was conducted by the author aims to determine the effect of product quality on consumer satisfaction at Rattan Handmade Pekanbaru. This study is to determine the dimensions of product quality that have the most influence on consumer satisfaction. The product quality indicators used in this study are additional features, reliability, suitability, durability, serviceability, beauty, and perceived quality, as well as indicators of consumer satisfaction used in this study, namely expected quality and perceived quality. Sampling using incidental sampling method. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires, and the data analysis used was simple regression analysis with the SPSS v.23 application. In the validity test, the overall statement item is declared valid because the value of r count > r table (0.3610). The results of a simple regression obtained a Y value of 15.393 + 0.523 X. From the results of the partial test or t test, the value of t count (5.625) > t table (2.04841) with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05 means that product quality has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction at Rattan Handmade in Pekanbaru. And the value of the coefficient of determination of 0.531 means that the percentage of the influence of the product quality variable on the consumer satisfaction variable is 53.1% while the remaining 46.9% is influenced by other variables not included in the study.
