Abstract
City parks are things that the government should build in beautifying the spatial layout and improving the quality of temperature and humidity and reducing noise will increase comfort. The Gajah Mada City Park in Tembilahan provided by the Indragiri Hilir Regency Government is specifically for people to relax. But the public's interest in using and utilizing the park is still lacking even though apart from being free and the location is easy to reach and strategically located in the middle of Tembilahan City. This study aims to analyze the level of thermal comfort, audial and comfort based on visitor perceptions and identify elements of open space for city parks. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method in determining the condition of park facilities and quantitative analysis, namely THI analysis using a hygrometer, assessing noise using a sound meter and a Likert scale for comfort questionnaires according to the perceptions of visitors to Gajah Mada City Park. Sources of data obtained are from primary data sources; observations, questionnaires, thermal measurements, noise, and secondary data sources; Bappeda, BPS, Department of Parks, BMKG Indragiri Hilir. The results showed that the level of thermal comfort was carried out twice. The study found that THI area I was quite comfortable, area II was comfortable, area III and IV were uncomfortable. Audial comfort was also carried out twice in the study, obtained through sound meter measurements, area II was comfortable, which was below 50db and areas I, III and IV were uncomfortable, which was above 50db. Convenience based on the visitor perception questionnaire, namely circulation is very good, getting a score above 80%, enough smells / odors, getting a score of 40-59.99%, good security, only parking security is sufficient, namely 48.78%, cleanliness gets the highest score at 71.21% is good and the lowest score is in the garbage dump, 38.74% is bad, beauty gets the highest score, namely plasa 76.77% is good and the lowest score is 38.65% bad garden lights. Elements of open space for the park are quite good, although there are some elements that are damaged and facilities that are not available, namely parking lots, toilets, information centers and gazebos at Gajah Mada City Park. This problem needs to be dealt with by the government, precisely at the Parks Service so that city parks have good comfort for the present and the future.
