Abstract

This research was conducted for 16 days starting from June 21, 2021 to July 8, 2021, at the Microalgae Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau. This study was experimental using a completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments, namely the administration of doses of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%. This research was conducted to determine the optimal dose for the growth of Clhorella sp. and look at the availability of Nitrate (NO3-), Phosphate (PO4), BOD5 (Biological Oxygen Demand), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), Iron (Fe), and Manganese (Mn). The results of the abundance study of Chlorella sp. the highest was found in P2 as much as 2250x103 cells/ml on day 10 and for the abundance of Chlorella sp. The lowest was found at P5 as much as 1650 cells/ml at the peak of day 10. For LPS, the highest cell growth was found in P2 with a dose of leachate waste (10%) of 2,250x103 cells/ml, followed by treatment of P1 (5%) of 1,950x103 cells/ml, P3 (15%) of 1867x103 cells/ml, P4 (20) was 1667x103 cells/ml, and P5 (25%) was 1650x103 cells/ml. Total biomass of Chlorella sp. namely P1 (0.79 g/L), P2 (0.95 g/L), P3 (0.66 g/L), P4 (0.65 g/L), and P5 (0.48 g/L ). For water quality measurements during the study such as temperatures ranging from 26-29oC, pH 7.08-8, nitrate (15.62-40.84 mg/L), phosphate (1.92-3.60 mg/L), BOD ( 2.95-2.45 mg/L), COD (76.13-126.31 mg/L), iron (5.20-13.51 mg/L), manganese (0.36-0.66 mg /L).
