Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) The development of TSNR 20 export volume, natural rubber production, natural rubber prices (domestic, international, and in the United States), Indonesian natural rubber stocks, car sales in the United States, and the exchange rate of the Rupiah against the US Dollar; 2) Dominant factors affecting TSNR 20 exports before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted for 6 (six) months starting from January 2021 to June 2021. The method used in this research is literature study. The data used in this study is Time Series data from January 2015 to December 2021 obtained from various sources such as the International Rubber Consortium Limitid, UnComtrade, Gapkindo, Ditjenbun, Bank Indonesia, and BPS. This study used multiple linear regression model and analyzed using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results showed: 1) The development of the Rupiah exchange rate weakened during the Covid-19 pandemic, while the price of TSNR 20 (domestic, and in the United States), rubber production and Indonesian rubber stock increased from before the pandemic except for the export volume of TSNR 20 to the United States, international prices and sales of cars in the United States which have decreased over the last 7 years. In addition to the export volume of TSNR 20, other variables have an increasing average rate of growth per month; 2) The dominant factor affecting Indonesia's TSNR 20 rubber exports to the United States is the Indonesian Rubber Stock.
