Abstract
Palm oil is one of the plantation commodities that has a large share in generating local revenue, gross domestic product and public welfare. The purpose of this study is to analyze: 1). Channels, Functions and Marketing Institute, 2). Cost, Margin, Profit, Farmer Share and Efficiency Marketing, 3). Elasticity of Transmission of Palm Oil Prices at the Farmer, Trader Level and Factory. Sampling is done randomly (simple random sampling) consisting of 31 samples and carried out using survey methods and interviews that lasted for 7 months starting in June 2020 until December 2020, using primary and secondary data, regression analysis multiple linear. Research results: 1). Marketing of oil palm FFB there are two marketing channel (farmer-factory) (farmer-trader-factory). The marketing function carried out by palm oil traders, among others: the purchasing function, sales, collection, transportation, financing, risk, standardization and market information. 2). Marketing costs to farmers who are producers spend a marketing fee of Rp. 205.10 of the total marketing costs. Collectors spend Rp. 42.20, Margin on Traders Collector is Rp. 460 and the Profit earned by the merchant is Rp. 1,582 while the farmer's profit is 1,419, Marketing of oil palm FFB in Tapung Hilir sub-district is classified as efficiency. This can be seen from the value of marketing efficiency of 15.23. The results of the study obtained that the price elasticity farmer level against farmers last week in the short term was 1,958. This means that if the price at the farmer level last week increased by 10%, then in In the short term, prices at the farm level increased by 19.58%. Price elasticity value shows that last week's farmer prices in the short term are responsive. This matter proves that in determining prices at the farm level, it is more the price driver is the farmer's price last week. Price elasticity value shows that the price of farmers to the price of traders in the short term unresponsive.
