Abstract

The Inspectorate of Riau Province is an element of supervisory administration of regional government, has the task of supervising the implementation of government affairs in the province, the implementation of the implementation of the governance of the Regency / City and the supervision of government affairs in the Regency / City. And has a function, Planning supervision program, Policy formulation and facilitation of supervision, Inspection, investigation, testing and assessment of supervisory duties led by an Inspector who is under and directly responsible to the governor and technically administrative gets guidance from the regional secretary. The purpose of this research is basically to find out the implementation of the supervision of the Riau Provincial Inspectorate on the Development of Green Open Space. The operationalization of the concepts used in this study refers to the concept of Manullang (2004: 84). Informants in this study were as many as 6 people. The data analysis used in this study is qualitative data analysis. From the description that the author has explained the discussion, taking into account the indicators of the implementation of supervision on the implementation of the supervision of Green Open Space Development by the Inspectorate of Riau Province has been going well but there are still some indicators that must be re-considered for improvement. This can be seen from the fact that there are still a number of problems relating to the incompatibility of regulations and work procedures with activities. In conducting supervision, employees who are in charge of monitoring rarely provide reports on findings in the field, even though this is important for corrective actions found by government agencies problematic.
