Abstract

Pensioun is still a frightening phenomenon for most people who have to wait for their retirement, so that when an individual who is not ready to accept it needs to be repaired because it is no longer useful and helpless. Such meaning in life will result in negative affections such as despair, unhappiness, sadness and lack of enthusiasm in the victory of the collected day, where these aspects are part of subjective well-being. The research data were analyzed by using the Pearson Product Moment Program Program SPSS 20.0 for Windows. The results of the data analysis of variable values between the meaningfulness of life and subjective well-being (r) = 0.668 with a value of p = 0,000 (p <0.05) related to the significant influence between the meaningfulness of life on subjective well-being in pensioun Riau Police, with a positive relationship. The contribution value given by R square is 0.447% or 45%, which means that the effective contribution of meaningfulness to subjective subjective life is 45% and 55% is accepted by other factors.
