Abstract

ABSTRACT By: Serly Wedia Hanum The purpose of this research is into undertand and explain how the filing of cooperation constracts with business partners in the commercial sector at PT. Langit Syarif Kasim II aiport branch, Pekanbaru, shows that archive management is an inportant dokument owned by organizations in archive management which is used conventionally at this time. In develoved countries, many countries have used information technology to manage record electronically. The role of archiving is the role as a memory center, as a sourceof information and as a monitoring tool which is indispensable for orgazations in the context of planning, depelopment, decision making, reporting, accountability, assessment activities. And proper control. The problem that researchers found in the field work practice is that it requires space or a cupboard for a large strorage area so that the risk of small archive damage occurs, it takes a very long time to search for archived files that have been stored or to recover archives. Furthuremore, the researcher concluded that in terms of archive management, from the start of acceptance to the destruction process, it has not been going well, because there are still many dokuments or letters of cooperation contracts at PT ruang pura II which are still not neatly arranged alphabettically, because they are directly stacked in one folder. Just and immediately put in the filing cabinet, in terms of effectiveness and effeciency, the mangement of records at the commercial division of PT. ruang pura II, Pekanbaru has used the menual system and the SIDOEL electronic system (electronic dokument information system) so that the neglected menual system is still not optimal enough to complete tasks as an archiver in terms of employees, the focus is on electronic systems only, therefore the sales filing system is still not good for the management of these records, dokuments or letters that are already inactive should be desytroyed, but in the commercial division, dokuments that are inactive are still located in that one folder, so you can menual system files are neatly organized and make it easy to recover quickly.
