Abstract

ABSTRACT The research objective is to explain the accounting process of BUMDes D Lima Saroha whether it is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This research was conducted at a village-owned enterprise (BUMDes) D Lima Saroha, Sungai Kumango village, Tambusai sub-district, Rokan Hulu district. generally accepted. This research is a qualitative research, and the techniques used in data collection are interviews and documentation, to analyze the data obtained by the author using descriptive methods, namely making comparisons between the data that has been collected with related theories and presented in the form of research results. The results of this study indicate that the application of village accounting to the village-owned enterprises of D Lima Saroha is not fully in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, however, the results of this study also illustrate that the application of accounting at BUMDes still needs improvement to improve the welfare of the community at the agency village owned business.
