Abstract

This study was made to find out the obstacles to the Covid-19 Task Force (SATGAS) in acting as a companion and assisting the community in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, where at this time the outbreak of an infectious virus disease, namely Corona Virus Disease 2019 has infected and spread widely throughout the world. public. by using the previous theory (Levinson, 2012: 213) which is about the role (Role) which is a dynamic aspect in a person who has a position (Status). If a person performs his rights and obligations in accordance with his position as given the responsibility to that person to carry out his duties. The type of this research method is using qualitative methods by using data collection techniques where researchers make observations, documentation and direct interviews. This technique is related to several informants who discuss this research. The subjects of this study were the Trantib Section Staff, members of the Covid-19 Task Force team and several residents of the Tenayan Raya District. The results of the study show that the role of the Covid-19 Task Force in preventing the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 in Tenayan Raya District according to the respondents' overall responses is in the fairly good category.
