Abstract

This study aims to determine the supervision of the Department of Industry and Trade in the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas in Rambah sub-district, Rokan Hulu district. This type of research uses qualitative research methods by means of surveys, namely prioritizing a list of interviews as a data collection tool which is the main raw material for observing the research location. The research is located in Rambah sub-district, Rokan Hulu district. There are key informants and informants in this study, namely the head of the industry and trade department, the head of the trade sector, the head of the metrology, 3 Kg LPG gas base, the Rambah sub-district community. Three data collection techniques used consisted of primary data collected through interviews and field research results and secondary data collected in the form of reports and notes and documents. Based on this observation technique, the study assessed and concluded that the supervision of the Department of Industry and Trade in the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas in Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency was quite good.
