Abstract

COMMUNITY LOCAL ACTIVISM IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE SENTAJO PROTECTED FOREST AREA IN THE SUB-DISTRICT SENTAJO RAYA KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI AS A TEACHING MATERIAL MODULE BIOLOGY CLASS X SMA LINDY ERNINDA NPM. 176510172 Depertement of Biology. Supervisor: Dr. Elfis, M.Si ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a module for teaching materials of community local wisdom in the management of Sentajo Protected Forest, Sentajo Raya sub-district, Kuantan Singingi district as a module for class X high school biology teaching materials. This research is a type of research development (Research and Development) with the development of the ADDIE method. The subjects of this study were the people of the Sentajo Protected Forest area, Sentajo Raya Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency and the subjects of the teaching materials were grade X students at SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan, SMAN 2 Sentajo Raya and SMAN 2 Singingi. The research data were obtained from validation sheets that were assessed by material experts, learning experts and biology teachers, as well as response questionnaires obtained from the results of limited trials from students. The results of this study indicate that the quality of the validity of the teaching material module based on the results of the validation by the material is in the very valid category with an average percentage of 87,84% (very valid), the results of the validation of learning experts are in the very valid category with an average percentage of 86,08% (very valid). and the results of validation by three teachers get an average percentage of 97,56% (very valid), and the results of trials on students get an average of 95,19% (very valid), based on these several categories, it can be concluded that the learning media developed have been very valid and can be used as teaching materials that can help the learning process of students.
