Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of penitentiary guidance development skills in class II corecctional facilities a Pekanbaru, the research indicators used in study include personality and independence. The research method used is a quantitative research method that is by way of interviews and interact with people at the research site. This research can be categorized as a descriptive study that prioritizes the questionnaire list as a means of collecting data and the collected data is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the real conditions of the objectivity of rhe existence of research objektives at the locations examined. The object of this research is the coaching process carried out at the penitentiary. The resource persons in this study are the penitentiary guides. The samping technique used in this study is the sampling technique. Types and data colletion techniques used consist of primary data collection by questionnaire techniques, secondary data and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are interviews, field notes and documentation. This study aims to analyze the fostering of the skills of prisoners in class II A prison in Pekanbaru. Because coaching is very important for correctional fostered citizens, so that later received back in the community. Based on this coaching technique assesses and concludes that analysts fostering the skills of prisoners in class II A Pekanbaru correctional facilities with category values often do coaching, but still experiencing shortcomings in choaching due to lack of fasilities in the coaching process.
