Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the role of the village consultative body as the oversight of the village budget of 1 billion towards Simpang Padang Village and the village funds are in accordance with the Village Law. The research method that I used was observations that saw its nature as analytical descriptive, primary data used in the study were the results of interviews with village officials and the Simpang padang village community and were based on using the relevant regulations requested and also by looking at the facts in the middle. Public. The results of the research show that supervision conducted by BPD is carried out in a way, BPD uses direct and indirect supervision methods as a support in the supervision. This oversight functions as an oversight carried out by the BPD after approving village funds, by examining the accountability for the use of village funds in Simpang Padang Village. And to realize the village funds in Simpang Padang Village itself, especially in the realization of village funds, I use the construction of air flow, some road improvements and airways. How this should be clear that the realization of my village funds in Simpang Padang Village is only used in the field of village development, so this needs to be criticized again, related to the use of village funds that are not related in the field of community empowerment. Therefore the role of BPD is very necessary as a place to accommodate the aspirations of the community to be more professional and professional in carrying out their obligations as a form of accountability for the community.
