Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of the application of the violation point on student discipline at the Pekanbaru Labor Vocational School. The research was conducted using a type of descriptive qualitative research, namely research that describes the actual state of the phenomenon of the object under study and compared with the theory in accordance with the research problem. The sample in this study was taken from 10 students who were subject to violation points in the 2019/2020 school year. Based on the results of research Researchers interviewed 10 SMK Labor students who were subject to violation points there were 9 students who had a very high level of discipline and found 1 student, in the 2019 school year the points were accumulated greater than in the previous academic year 2018 that students assumed points violations that accumulated in the previous year are not subject to sanctions or the issuance of SP for their actions.
