Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of Rhizobium and POC Mata Lele on the growth and yield of soybean plants. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, for five months starting from May 2021 to September 2021. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of Rhizobium and POC Eye Catfish on the growth and yield of soybean plants. The design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was Rhizobium which consisted of four treatment levels, namely 0.10,15,20 g/kg seeds and the second factor was POC Eye Catfish which consisted of four levels, namely 0.110,120,130 ml/l water. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, number of active root nodules, number of pithy pods, weight of 100 wet seeds, and weight of 100 dry seeds. Observational data were analyzed statistically and further tested by BNJ at 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the interaction effect of Rhizobium and POC Eye Catfish significantly affected plant height, flowering age, net assimilation rate 21-28 DAP, active root nodules, weight of 100 wet seeds, weight of 100 dry seeds, and number of seeds. pithy pods with the best combination treatment, namely the provision of Rhizobium 20 g/kg seeds and POC Eye Catfish 130ml/l water. The main effect of Rhizobium administration was significant on all observation parameters, with the best treatment being 20 g/kg seed. The main effect of POC Eye Catfish was significant on all parameters, with the best treatment being 130 ml/l water.
