Abstract

Ali Syadikin (164110339), Research entitled "The Effect of Swallow Manure and Phonska NPK Fertilizer on the Growth and Production of Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L Moench) Plants". The purpose of this study was to determine the main and interaction effect of swallow dung and Phonska NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of okra plants. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru, from November 2020 to January 2021. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is swallow feces consisting of 4 levels, namely dose 0; 0.5; 1.0; and 1.5 kg per plot. while the second factor is NPK Phonska which consists of 4 levels, namely 0; 6.25; 12.5; and 18.75 grams per plant with 3 replications, so there were 16 treatment combinations, so there were 48 experimental units. Each unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 of them were observed sample plants, so the total number of plants was 192 stems. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit planted, weight of fruit per fruit and length of fruit. The results of the observations were carried out by analysis of variance, tested for honest real difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of swallow manure and NPK Phonska had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit and fruit length. The best treatment was giving swallow manure 1.5 kg per plot and NPK Phonska 18.75 grams per plant (W3N3). The main effect of swallow manure was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment was 1.5 kg per plot (W3). The main effect of Phonska NPK was significant on all observation parameters, the best treatment was 18.75 grams per plant (N3).
