Abstract

This research was conducted at UIRA Farm Agro, Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Teropong No. 62, Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency for three months from June to August 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and each of the main factors of rice washing water and Organic NPK on the growth and yield of celery plants. This study is a 4 x 4 factorial experiment in a completely randomized design with 3 replications consisting of two factors. The first factor is the concentration of rice washing water (S) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 10, 20 and 30 ml/l water. The second factor is the dose of Organic NPK fertilizer (N), which consists of 4 levels, namely 0; 2.7; 5.4; and 8.1 grams/plant. Parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers, number of leaf midribs, economic weight, root volume and root length. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ further test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of rice washing water and organic NPK significantly affected the number of tillers, number of leaf midribs, economic weight, root volume and root length. The best treatment was a combination of 30 ml/l rice washing water and Organic NPK (S3N3). The main effect of rice washing water was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment was the concentration of 30 ml/l water (S3). The main effect of real Organic NPK on all parameters observed the best treatment was (N3) at a dose of 8.1 grams/plant.
