Abstract

The problem of paraffin wax in LGK 16 well and LGK 21 well PT. SPR Langgak caused a drastic decrease in oil production where the LGK 16 well had an average production of 40 BOPD in the middle 2010-2014 and continued to decline to 24 BOPD in 2017, while the LGK 21 well had an average production of 31 BOPD in 2010-2013 and decreased continuously until 18 BOPD at the end of 2017. This problem occurs because of the deposition of paraffin wax on perforation after a long period of production and dikarekan the conditions of the paraffinic oil. In the process of controlling paraffin wax, there are several techniques that must be adapted to where the paraffin wax is formed. Paraffin wax countermeasures include the process of removing paraffin wax and preventing the formation of paraffin wax when it is already formed, which can be done chemically. One of the paraffin wax prevention methods used in the LGK 16 well and LGK 21 well PT. SPR Langgak is a DHC (Down Hole Cleaning) method by injecting chemicals such as wax inhibitors in the form of solvents directly into the well. The success of this method can be seen from the increase in production results after treatment that can be seen in the increase in PI (Productivity Index) and increase in the IPR curve (Inflow Performance Relationship). This study was conducted to analyze the performance of the use of heavy paraffin solvent in overcoming paraffin wax deposits in the LGK 16 well and LGK 21 well PT. SPR Idle. In the production of LGK 16 wells after the solvent treatment was carried out, the average production decreased from 24.56 BOPD (2017-2018) to 11.97 BOPD (2018-2019) with a Productivity Index (PI) from 0.047 BOPD / Psi to 0.009 BOPD / Psi, decreasing IPR (Inflow Performance Relationship) curve from the optimum production rate of 17.97 BOPD to 3.48 BOPD, while in the LGK 21 well, the average production increased by 17.47 BOPD (2016-2017) to 23.22 BOPD (2017-2018) with Productivity index (PI) ) from 0.36 BOPD / Psi to 0.52 BOPD / Psi, the IPR (Inflow Performance Relationship) curve also experienced an optimum production increase of 107.82 BOPD to 155.74 BOPD. Factors that influence the success of the paraffin solvent heavy injection can be seen in the job procedure, depth, and pump.
