Abstract
Achievement of performance in government agencies is assessed from the point of view of each stakeholder. After obtaining input from the constitutional institution, the performance of government agencies can be measured, so that something is expected by stakeholders for the organization. The Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office has carried out various actions carried out simultaneously in various regions. However, it cannot be denied that the illegal cigarette trade continues to increase every year. The type of research used is qualitative research with phenomenological research type to provide an overview of the performance of the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office in tackling illegal cigarettes in Pekanbaru City. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. Informants are people who are trusted with the issues raised. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on performance indicators can be categorized as good because productivity at the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office itself has gone well as expected, namely discipline, giving awards and punishments in accordance with existing rules. As for the responsiveness of the Pekanbaru City Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office, conducting briefing, outreach and programs to suppress the circulation of illegal cigarettes and the responsibility at the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office has been running according to existing SOPs, starting from the quality of employee work, compliance with regulations and The delegation of authority also runs according to the existing SOP.
