Abstract

The development of a corn thresher tool uses a longer blade with dimensions of 200 x 45 longer than before, this tool is specifically for threshing corn, this corn thresher also uses a filter, casing, hopper, exhaust duct, electric motor, exhaust pipe, frame, and pulleys & V-belts. The results and calculations of this tool are: The design power is 0.186 kw, the design moment is 64.70 kg/mm, the shear stress is 3.08 kg/mm2, the shaft diameter is 7 mm, the shear stress on the shaft is 0.0806 kg/mm2, with an engine speed of 2800 rpm, after the tool development is carried out. testing 3 times, then the average time is 2.5 minutes, with the actual capacity of the tool 43.2 kg/hour.
