Abstract

Interpersonal communication from a leader really needs to be done as a supporter of smooth communication within the organization. Good leadership interpersonal communication systems and relationships can minimize the occurrence of gaps in various parties in the organization and can also minimize mutual distrust or mutual suspicion in the work environment which results in low job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of leadership interpersonal communication on job satisfaction of employees in the field of Regional Tax Control at Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru. The research method used in this research is quantitative research. The quantitative research method is one type of research whose specifications are systematic, well-planned and clearly structured from the start to the making of the research design. In this study the authors used the SPSS for Windows Version 20 computerized system to determine the magnitude of the influence of leadership interpersonal communication on job satisfaction of employees in the area of Regional Tax Control at Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru. From the test results it is known that interpersonal communication of leader has a significant effect on job satisfaction of employees in the area of regional tax control at Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pekanbaru. Then, based on the percentage contribution or contribution of interpersonal communication, the value of work satisfaction is 88.3% and the remaining 11.7% is influenced by items or other factors not included in this study, such as motivation, compensation and work environment.
